Common Reporting Environment for the Warehouse (CREW)

What is CREW?

CREW is a reporting system that draws data from a variety of sources, which are updated on a nightly basis. Users can submit report requests for immediate processing or schedule reports to automatically run on a recurring basis. Types of CREW reports include financial, budget, receivables, HR management, benefits, costing, payroll, pension, security, grants management, and sponsored reports.

Features of CREW

The CREW homepage offers you:

  • Easy navigation to create a new report request
  • The ability to sort your requests by request number, report name, request name, or date
  • Request ID hyperlinks that allow you to quickly view information about the request including creation and run times, the number of rows returned, and the parameters you entered
  • The ability to edit your scheduled requests, create and schedule new requests based on others, cancel scheduled requests, and delete completed requests
  • Completed request icons that signal the output type (PDF, CSV, etc.) and whether or not your report returned any data
  • A Copy to User button that allows you to copy a report request's parameters (not its output) to another CREW user, allowing them to run it under their own security restrictions
  • A What's New flag will display in reports that are new or changed
