Grants Management Application Suite (GMAS)
|
What is GMAS? GMAS is Harvard's first enterprise-wide grants management system. The application is web-based and serves to connect those involved in and responsible for sponsored research administration. GMAS provides participants with critical visibility and robust information. Faculty, grant managers, department administrators, school and central administrators are supported with access to one system that pulls together the work performed during the life of a sponsored award. GMAS was conceived, developed, and tested with the active involvement of hundreds of school and central users, from user experience research, concept and usability testing, design and application testing and acceptance. User InformationEach Tub has a designated Authorized Requestor who is responsible for submitting requests for system access. Your Authorized requestor will work with you and your manager or supervisor to determine the applications and the level of access that you will require for your job. Your Authorized Requestor will then submit the appropriate request(s) for access. For more information and to obtain the list of authorized requestors, see Client Services. GMAS login requires PIN authentication. GMAS security is role based and organized by teams. Teams are established on a grant by grant basis or according to department, school, and central office responsibilities. GMAS roles include access to CREW Grants Management reports. Contact your central sponsored research office, listed below in Related Websites, for information regarding GMAS training opportunities.
