Harvard Institutional Review Board Electronic Reporting Tool (HIRBERT)

What is HIRBERT?

HIRBERT is a web-based tool designed to assist Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) share best practices and standardize data while allowing flexibility in considering the needs of individual studies at Harvard.

HIRBERT serves the University's three IRBs, located at the Harvard School of Public Health, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and the Harvard Medical School/Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Support for HIRBERT came in part from the NIH.

How to Obtain Access to HIRBERT

Access is limited to the University's IRB offices and central sponsored research offices. Access is granted by IRB offices.

HIRBERT login requires PIN authentication.
