Welcome to General Accounting

What We Do

  • Maintain the calendar for the fiscal month-end and year-end closings of the University’s General Ledger
  • Provide guidance to the tubs on appropriate accounting practices
  • Process journal vouchers related to tub requested entries for endowment and current use gift funds
  • Manage the University’s year-end closing process
  • Monitor tub accounting practices to ensure that General Ledger users are adhering to University accounting policies and procedures

 

The General Accounting Office (GOA) is happy to introduce a new feature on their web site designed to allow users to request answers to questions on specific financial situations or processes.
