Systems Outages October 11-16: FINDINI 3.2.3 Release, CREW and Peoplesoft      top

  • Oracle Financials will be unavailable after close of business on Friday night, October 12 until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, October 15. The most significant impact to users will be the new Oracle homepage (see article below) and upgrades to CREW
  • CREW will be unavailable Thursday, October 11, 5:00 pm – start of day Tuesday, October 16
  • The Benefits Team is converting retiree benefits into PeopleSoft on Saturday, October 13. PeopleSoft will not be available to users from Friday, October 12, 10:30 pm, until the late evening of Saturday, October 13

New Oracle Homepage Simulation Available    top

As part of the October FINDINI release, users will log in to a new Oracle homepage.  The new page was previewed in the July eNews, and some of the new features were discussed in the September eNews.  This change is due to an upgrade in our Oracle platform to what’s known as the “Oracle Framework”.

CWD has created an online simulation of the Oracle Homepage in Eureka to demonstrate some of the new features. It is strongly recommended that all staff using any of the Oracle financials view the simulation before the FINDINI release this weekend.

The Eureka Learning Management System provides a broad spectrum of training and support (e.g.,work instructions, online courses, etc.) for financial and human resources systems. Watch for additional online courses and supporting documentation to be added to the site throughout this fiscal year.
