HUBS News-Release 2.2, FAS Planning Re-Design
HUBS Release 2.2, includes a Workday Outage on November 2nd
HUBS will be unavailable all day Friday, November 2nd, Saturday, November 3rd, and Sunday, November 4th, for the installation of Release 2.2. HUBS will become available at the start of business on Monday, November 5th.
This release focuses on a re-design of the Planning Applications for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS). The re-design brings performance improvements for all HUBS users and streamlines future development and implementation processes.
On Monday, November 5th, FAS users will find that Planning Applications 20, 21, and 22 have been replaced with new Planning Applications 25, 26, and 27. Like the Planning Applications for other schools/units, the new FAS Planning Applications each has their own CINA cube and Employee cube, and each FAS Tub has been assigned to only one of the Planning Applications. Users now accomplish both the Employee and Non-Employee budgeting for a single Tub in one Planning Application. Check the diagram below to find a Tub's Planning Application:

Other than the changes described above, users will find that all other aspects of HUBS function as they did before the release.
Finally, due the re-design, FAS Authorized Requestors should note that FAS User Security requests will not be processed the week of October 29th.
Please send any questions to hubs@harvard.edu.
